Ever thought of adding natural sweetness to your meal, to cool your excess internal heat or fire?
Here’s a sweet and simple, cooling, Ojas (immunity) supporting complement to any meal.
Dates are known as natures candy. They’re very cooling and in moderation, great for us!
This special immune enhancing recipe looks like caramel and tastes like heaven….on anything!
We need to make sure to have sufficient natural sweet taste in our diet, especially to avoid craving artificial sugars.
Plus it’s a lovely way to sweeten your mood and a good reminder to enjoy the sweetness of life.
As we’re getting back into more regular travel, dates are a good thing to have with you.
I like to always have a bag of dates (and cashews) with me, on the road and even at my desk.
They’re easy to carry and they support the development of ojas faster than most other foods.
Contributing to our reserve of Ojas is key in order to maintain immunity and vitality.
Eating dates by themselves or with hot milk is very enjoyable, but they also combine well with most other foods. Dates make a great chutney that’s easy to whip up. I especially like this chutney on hot days to cool off.
